It's a brand new place. Absolutely gorgeous place with very high ceilings. Chef Tim made me the best pastrami sandwich I ever had in my life. Which the Chef cures himself. Very high quality food with a very reasonable price menu. I just love it

If your looking for a breakfast or lunch alternative I recommend Cafe Soleil. Irene and her staff are welcoming and accommodating with special requests. I felt like I was in a charming european cafe.
Awesome little place, my wife loved the sandwhich she ordered & I loved thier chai tea. 1000% better than a starbucks with chairs to sit outside.
It was so delicious, I forgot to take a photo, haha. I got the Caprese Panini and all parts of the sandwich were spectacular. The mozzarella was cut thick and the tomatoes and basil were so fresh. The sourdough bread they use is also perfectly tangy with a nice softness. Irene, the owner, was there that day and was very kind and attentive. I don't come to the area very often, but I will make an effort to come more often now that Caffe Soleil opened! The shop beautifully decorated, but it is small. I recommend coming on a clear and mild day to enjoy their cute outdoor seating or planning to order takeout.
Great food, coffee and smoothies! I'm so happy that Café Soleil opened up in Old Town, Salinas. And I'm especially happy that it is conveniently located so close to my office. In the short time since Café Soleil opened, we've tried at least half of the menu. We are hooked. Everything has been great.
Unique business in the heart of Old Town Salinas, profesional service and boutique-like ambiance. Amazing coffee and I definitely have to return for the matcha lattes and the flatbreads. Plenty of outdoor seating and a great place to feel like you’re in Europe.
Here’s the complete list of everything I disliked about Caffe Soleil: Please note the generous white space above, there were no complaints. Even arriving close to closing, we were met with exceptional customer service, a thoughtfully designed menu, delightful pairings, and truly outstanding espresso. All of this unfolded in an intimate, charming setting that briefly transported us to a European bistro. It’s a rare and wonderful experience to feel so completely taken care of, and this café delivers it effortlessly.
Staff is great and friendly. Beautiful Beets juice is fresh and delicious. Their vanilla rose latte is tasty but if you're not a fan of rose, this is not for you. Their cesar salad wrap is one, if not THE, best cesar salad wrap I've had. Croutons have the crispy crunch and not hard like you're about to break your teeth on. And a great herby taste.
